Bollard Consulting Waiter/Waitress Jobs in Kenya; Our client, in the hospitality sector is looking to hire Waiter/Waitress who will be responsible for providing exceptional professional service to guests to ensure they enjoy a seamless dining experience.



Responsibilities

· Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and offering recommendations.

· Suggest and professionally upsell food & beverage products.

· Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to quality and presentation standards.

· Ensure tables are clean and set for the next guests promptly.

· Attend and accommodate guests’ reasonable requests and ensure all queries are responded to promptly and on time.

· To be knowledgeable about the menu and information about the food and beverage offerings as well as preparation methods.

· Take food and beverage orders and ensure that orders are communicated to the kitchen and bar promptly and accurately.

· Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.

· Address customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally.

· Process payments accurately, including handling cash and using POS systems.

Requirements

· Certificate/Diploma in Food and Beverage service

from a recognized institution or its equivalent

· Minimum 2 year experience in a similar role

· An operational knowledge and proficiency in Point of Sale System an asset

· Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong guest service orientation

· Able to balance a variety of conflicting priorities while providing guest service

· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

· Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanour.

· Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
