BME Underground Emulsion Specialist Jobs in Zambia

BME Zambia Ltd is looking for a competent, passionate and results-driven professional to fill the following role:

Underground Emulsion Specialist-Zambia/Namibia/DRC

Reports to: Operations Manager .

Key Performance Areas

• Managing blasting service delivery

• Managing stocks Cost control

• Managing the SIIEQ function

• Invoicing of customers

Attributes

• Team work Safety Conscious Accountability, honesty, integrity and ethical conduct

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent analytical skills .

• Excellent decision making ability

Requirements:

• Full grade 12 certificate or its equivalent

• Diploma in Mining/Mechanical or Explosives Engineering

• Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)

• Holder of a Zambian Blasting License(All Mining Operations)

• Sound knowledge of applicable legislation such as the Explosives Act, OHS Act,

• Knowledge of operational planning and extensive knowledge of mining operations

• Minimum of 5 years' post qualifying experience in an operational/explosives mining environment

• Computer literacy

• Supervisory experience in managing a production crew

• SADC driver's license Class C
