Requirements


The task will be conducted by a consultant or team of consultants with the team leader and
partners having the following main qualifications:


  • Team leader holds a master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics and any other
    related field.
  • Have a minimum of five years’ working experience with NGOs as especially those working in agriculture, development, ecological organic agriculture in grants administration /
    manager.
  • Relevant practical experience in developing or reviewing Sub-Grants and or finance
    manuals for international organizations issuing sub-grants.
  • Working knowledge of sub-grants management process of key international donors.
  • Previous work experience working for international donor organizations and extensive
    knowledge of the donor requirements.
  • Experience of having worked with partners in Africa will be preferred.
  • Excellent report writing and presentations skills.
  • Sound communication and personal skills.
  • Good communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.


    How to Apply


    Interested candidates should submit the following:


  • Technical proposal covering the following components
  • Their understanding of the assignment based on the TOR
  • Proposed methodology for conducting the assignment
  • Proposed timeframe detailing activities and a work plan
  • Addressing the selection criteria including how the candidate ‘s previous experience
    matches the consultancy objectives and their interest for the assignment.
  • Team composition and level of effort of each proposed team member.
  • Financial proposal showing the total cost of developing the M&E framework and the online
    web-based M&E system, breakdown of consultancy costs (including costing of
    each
    member of the team, man-days for each team member), travel and other costs linked to this
    assignment. This consultancy is expected to be conducted within cost of USD 8,000-10,000.
  • At least one sample report of a similar assignment conducted in the past three years.
  • Detailed curriculum vitae of the consultant(s) to be involved in the assignment, with relevant supporting documents (including detailed work experience, education/degrees, and details of similar assignments).
  • Names and contacts of three professional references (phone numbers and email).
  • A one-page write-up showing why you are most suitable for undertaking the consultancy.
