Biometrics Technology Ltd Electronic Queue Management Systems (EQMS) Technician Jobs in Kenya;The EQMS Technician will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Electronic Queue Management Systems and related hardware/software. This role supports both new deployments and existing client installations, ensuring system reliability and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

Install and commission EQMS equipment, kiosks, printers, displays, and servers.

Provide first‑ and second‑line technical support on‑site and remotely.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, including equipment replacement.

Support system integration, upgrades, and project implementation activities.

Maintain accurate technical documentation and service reports.

Deliver professional client support and training when required.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT support, systems installation, or ICT infrastructure.

Strong knowledge of computer hardware, Windows OS, and networking fundamentals.

Hands‑on experience with printers, kiosks, displays, and LAN troubleshooting.

Professional certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft, ITIL) advantageous.

Experience with EQMS, SQL/database support, or systems integration highly desirable.
