Bidvest Prestige the Technician – Gauteng Centralised Distribution Centre Jobs in South Africa;To implement an effective maintenance system within customer facilities and ensure SLA delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure building and equipment maintenance complies with schedules, legislation, SLAs, and job plans.

  • Prepare scope of work for mast and infrastructure maintenance projects and manage contractors.

  • Identify maintenance risks on client equipment for evaluation and resolution.

  • Provide end‑to‑end involvement in projects as requested by Project Managers.

  • Review infrastructure and maintenance strategies.

  • Facilitate inspections with consultants and contractors.

  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and submit failure reports in infrastructure discipline.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and compliance reports.

    Qualifications & Skills

  • National Diploma/Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • Matric (Senior Certificate).

  • Valid South African driver’s licence.

  • Minimum 3 years’ engineering experience in facilities maintenance, CRM, and property management.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook (intermediate level).

  • Knowledge of OHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management, and Risk Management Systems.
