Bidvest Prestige Contract ;Manager - Hospitality Jobs in South Africa; To compete against a standard of excellence by setting high performance standards for the housekeeping team. Responsible for compliance with hotel‑specific cleaning and hygiene requirements while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in line with SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, review, update, and implement housekeeping SOPs and policies.

  • Plan and monitor annual operational and CAPEX budgets for housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry services.

  • Apply HR management skills including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.

  • Establish and interpret KPIs to manage housekeeping operations and financial implications.

  • Encourage creativity and innovation in cleaning approaches, considering environment, people, and efficiency.

  • Conduct daily checks on cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and propose repairs or improvements.

  • Drive client communication by addressing complaints and feedback with solutions.

  • Develop housekeeping work plans, routine schedules, checklists, and training programs.

  • Schedule ad‑hoc tasks such as carpet shampooing, fumigation, and furnishing cleaning.

  • Perform additional Head of Department duties as required.

    Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or Hotel Operations.

  • Advantageous: HASA Membership.

  • Matric (Senior Certificate).

  • Minimum 5 years’ housekeeping management experience.

  • Proficiency in MS Word,
    Excel, and Outlook; hotel operations knowledge advantageous.
