Job Summary

  • Under the supervision of MERL Manager, the Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for assuring the service quality at all the service delivery points.

  • The Quality Assurance Specialist will ensure all the service quality standards and requirements at all level with major objective of assuring client satisfaction and making the service friendly for the clients at all the service delivery points and head quarter level.
    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary focal person for the quality assurance of programs for USAID HIV prevention, testing and treatment

  • Ensures the delivery of combination prevention services at town level is performed in accordance with standard operating procedures and in compliance with national rules and regulations and national guidelines,

  • Work closely with Partners and government stakeholders at town level to create quality agreements, ensure quality standards are met, and resolve issues related to quality service delivery promptly and effectively (compliance),
    Facilitate and ensure timely execution of the quality audit plan, regulatory inspections and work on corrective actions on quality deficiencies to responsible bodies (EQA),

  • Uses standard site visit program checklists for combination prevention activities as internal quality control to ensure quality service delivery at town level (IQA),

  • Perform other duties related to Quality assurance and Monitoring and evaluation,

    Job Requirements

    Qualification and Work Experience

  • BSc/ MSc in public health
    6 and above years’ work experience with hands on work experience on PEPFAR/USAID projects

  • Basic computer skills especially data bases and Microsoft excel

  • Fluency in writing & spoken English
