Job DescriptionBetopia Architects is looking for talented, enthusiastic, organized and self-driven 3D architectural visualizer and animators who can cope under pressure to work in our deadline driven environment.
Candidates must be able to work from AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, 3Ds Max, REVIT or .PDF files to create photo realistic interior and exterior renderings with little or no supervision.
The ideal candidates must have a strong working knowledge of Auto-desk 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona, Lumion, Photoshop, After Effects, Premier, Adobe Creative Suite in addition to modelling software.
Responsibilities
General
To be a part of a well-trained & technically sound team.
Stay updated with latest software used in the visualization field and industry.
Explore new technologies (both hardware and software) to expand Betopia’s services, improve the quality of visualizations and increase efficiency. This is likely to include new rendering engines, pipelines and assets, as well as emerging trends such as virtual reality.
Pre-production
Communicate with the clients and/or creative director to understand the concept and requirements of a project.
Draw sketches and develop storyboards according to the script.
Create 2D models of the sketches in the computer and modify the design if required.
Production
Modeling projects from minimum sketches, supervision and coordinate independently with architects and third parties when required.
Provide efficient modelling and converting of data sets from CAD or other 3D modeling packages.
Work on architectural 3D modeling, unwrapping, texturing, lighting, camera animation, rendering on visuals and walk-through projects.
Create extremely photorealistic exterior, interior, landscape visual and animation using Vray/corona renderer.
Create 3D walk-through & fly-through animation.
Undertake 2D image compositing, finishing and retouching operations on 3D
renderings.
Post production
Well knowledge and brilliant eye for detail in Post-Production to enhancing visuals/walk-through using Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere pro, Lightroom, and other special effects software.
Insure synchronization of frames and audio for the animation.
Edit and fine tune the animation sequence and insure that the final product meets the project requirements.
Job Requirements
Degree in Architecture, Fine Arts, Graphic Arts, or equivalent preferred or combination of education and relevant experience.
Ability to understand and handle Architectural CAD Drawings.
Extensive expertise in 3DS Max, V-Ray and Photoshop, after effect, premiere pro...and other pre and post production softwares/tools.
Knowledge of modelling, forest pack, railclone + other CG packages would be desirable.
A deep passion for visual narrative and the creation of imagery and storytelling.
Excellent detail orientation with demonstrated ability to retain and act on detailed direction.
Must be creative and have an eye for aesthetics and details.
Able to manage and prioritise tasks time efficiently, demonstrating project management skills to potentially coordinate multiple projects.
Ability to work well within a fast paced, dynamic, deadline oriented environment.
Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas in a clear concise manner and can understand and follow directions.
Ability to work well with a team and willingness to take initiative and work independently.
