QualificationsBachelors Degree or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Related Field.
Reporting to Operations Manager, Maintenance Supervisor Will Be Responsible for Management of Maintenance Across Both the Water and the Beer Factory by Supervising the Operations of Engineering Projects Site Utilities and Site Health and Safety Management.
He/she Will Also Supervise a Team to Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance and Also Unplanned Breakdowns as Well as Maintenance of Production Lines.
Other Duties Includes:-
Being Responsible for Maintenance Activities and Related Activities Across All Production Lines.
Maintenance Execution and Management of Maintenance Team.
Management of Maintenance and Engineering Contractors.
Running of the Planned Maintenance System Including the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Experience:
At Least 5 Years Experience as a Maintenance Technician/supervisor is Required With Specific Exposure to: Beverage Fillers, Carbonated Counter-pressure Fillers Experience an Advantage. Pet Bottle Blower, Rinser, Filler and Capper Experience Glass Bottle Washing and Filling Line.
Refrigeration Units, Shrink Wrappers, Bottle Washers, Boilers.
Experience With Planned Maintenance Systems, Setting Up Schedules and Stock Holding.
Effluent (Water Borne) Handling an Advantage. Previous Experience in Food Manufacturing Plant Would Be an Advantage.
Experience With Dealing With Suppliers to Get Spare Parts.
Stock Holding and Management for Spare Parts.
Additional Attributes:
Operation and Maintenance of Site Utilities Including Fillers,
Cappers, Rinsers, Steam, Refrigeration, Compressed Air, Shrink Wrappers, Pallet Wrappers, Electricity and Water Supply (Spring, Piping), Steam Boiler, Bottle Blower, Bottle Washer, Chillers.
This Includes Responsibility for Operation of Refrigeration Units, Compressed Air Units, Filler Monoblocks, Shrink-wrappers, Bottle Washers, Conveyors, Lighting and Buildings.
Control of Engineering/maintenance Stores (Including Procurement and Store Keeping), Stock Holding.
Overall Responsibility for Site Security. Overall Responsibility for Health and Safety on Site.
Planning and Execution of Small Engineering Projects and Executive Responsibility for Medium and Large Projects.
Follow Any Reasonable Instruction as Required to Ensure Continuous Production Flow.
Deal With Spare Parts Suppliers, Negotiating Good Price and Ensuring Quality of Spare Parts. Liaison With Local Authorities.
