Job Summary

  • Planning, coordination and implementation of Global Fund/ TASO project activities in the supported districts

    Overall Responsibilities

  • Take lead in planning, coordination and implementation of Global Fund/ TASO activities in community

  • Provide technical assistance during implementation of the Global Fund funded activities through planning, mobilizing and on-site mentorship activities based on national guidelines, protocols and the project’s implementation guidelines.

  • Work closely with the project M&E Officer and Project Coordinator to ensure regular updates of the Global Fund-TASO activity tracker and accurate and timely reporting.

  • Ensure timely reporting and documentation of results from the Global Fund TASO project implementation in collaboration with M&E team with focus on accurate data for timely reporting during monthly and quarterly reporting schedules.

  • Foster collaboration with comprehensive partners, district and sub counties implementing Global Fund/ TASO project funded activities.

  • Strengthen referral and linkages between community service delivery points and health facilities for AGYW and mothers and their partners who are participating in Family Support Groups (FSGs), Male Action Groups (MAGS) and Antenatal Care Services (ANC).

  • Support establishment of District Technical Working Groups and Community Quality Improvement teams to support implementation of AGYW risk reduction plans in identified communities

  • Strengthen partner coordination in the districts through participating in meetings and joint field
    activities

  • Develop timely activity trip plans, budgets and implementation plans on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

  • Timely submit activity progress reports on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
    Represent the project in Districts meetings including extended DHT meetings, comprehensive partners’ meetings when invited and district technical working group activities where Baylor is required to participate.

  • Document project success stories, case studies and blogs for sharing with a wider audience

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor/ Prevention Manager/management

    Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and or health related discipline

  • At least three years’ work experience implementing AGYW or DREAMS Initiative is an added advantage

  • A post graduate certificate in project planning and management is desired

  • 2 Years Relevant Experience
