Job SummaryThe position will provide guidance and technical oversight of the administration, procurement, facilities, stores, and IT functions of the project as well as work closely with the finance function and the project supervisors in ensuring timely and value-for- money project delivery.
It will support the promotion of inter-departmental relations, accountability for the implemented tasks, advocate for electronic operations systems and processes, as well as ensure operational efficiencies across all the project objectives.
Overall Responsibilities
The position will provide guidance and technical oversight of the administration, procurement, facilities, stores, and IT functions of the project as well as work closely with the finance function and the project supervisors in ensuring timely and value-for- money project delivery.
It will support the promotion of inter-departmental relations, accountability for the implemented tasks, advocate for electronic operations systems and processes, as well as ensure operational efficiencies across all the project objectives.
Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration or MBA with a related management back ground plus professional qualifications in Management or Logistics Management, Procurement or Accounting.
The candidate must have a degree in the relevant field .
The candidate must have at least Six(6) years’ experience in Operations Management.
The candidate must have at
least six (6) years working experience, with three (3) years’ experience at senior management level in a reputable organization, in a reputable Non-Governmental Organization.
Experience in project management of engineering works or management of large, multi-site facilities
Practical knowledge of service and repair requirements for machinery, equipment and vehicles; plus project planning & management principles; and human resource management.
