Job Summary

  • Plan, support and implement Health Information solutions for HIV, TB, PMTCT/EID and Laboratory.

  • Implement data quality standards, implement Health information systems development activities to support data analysis and modelling for the project.

  • Work closely with staff at MOH, METS and CDC to review and implement HIS agenda in the region.

  • Offer support to M&E team during implementation of facility based points of care systems, Uganda EMRs (Light), community-based electronic systems, Laboratory information systems and Health Information Exchanges (HIEs).

    Overall Responsibilities

  • Plan, support and implement Health Information solutions for HIV, TB, PMTCT/EID and Laboratory.

  • Implement data quality standards, implement Health information systems development activities to support data analysis and modelling for the project.

  • Work closely with staff at MOH, METS and CDC to review and implement HIS agenda in the region.

    Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies

  • A Bachelor’s degree in
    Information Systems (IS), Information Technology (IT), or related degree.

  • Strong understanding of national public health and Health Information systems (DHIS2, OPENMRS, KP TRACKER, OVC TRACKER)

  • At least 3 years’ experience in IT systems development.

  • Proven experience in systems analysis and design.

  • 3 Years Relevant Experience
