Key Output

• Manage resources and processes to achieve outputs as per the prescribed CATERPILLAR and Barloworld Standards

• Achieve operational excellence by ensuring that the prescribed KPI’s and SLA targets are achieved and exceeded

• Ensure internal and external customer expectations are met and exceeded

• Adhere to vendor ordering and supplying protocol, Building sustainable competence of all team members

• Ensure resource capacity planning and load balancing between team members

• Ensures a compliant audit report for his area of responsibility.

• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment which conform to contamination control standards

• Ensure compliance to corporate governance standards and consistent and effective reman core management

• Accountable to report on parts operational health and issues

• Manage parts assets on the balance sheet to ensure compliance to all warehouse standards.

• Manage reverse logistics and ensure correct and proper execution of Customer Contractual agreements (i.e. consignment stock and CSA’s)

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• National Diploma (Industrial Engineering) or NQF 6 equivalent  Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering will be an added advantage

• 8 to 10 years’ experience in sales,

warehousing and distribution management (Supply chain management)

• Exposure to more than one region or functional area of responsibility

• Track record leading people in a team-based / participative environment

• Working experience on the windows platform, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook)

• Working experience in ERP Systems (preferably) hands on detail experience

• Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving skills

• Judgement (includes Decision Making) and Excellence Orientation, Communication and Listening skills

• Business and Financial Acumen (Including Commercial Orientation)

• Applicable Product Knowledge and Participative Management (Developing People)
