To help maintain and grow this standard, we're seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily activities. The ideal candidate should have a sharp business mind and proven success managing multiple departments toward maximum productivity. Must be highly skilled in business development, human resources, finance, and IT management.

Additionally, he/she must display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the team. His/her ultimate responsibility is to increase the overall operational efficiency of the company.

About Your Role

Reporting to the country lead in Uganda, you will be responsible for:

• Operationalizing all strategic initiatives, supporting product development team, conducting product and market research to ensure the businesses more efficient, profitable and sustainable

• Establishing a solid customer base and pro-actively engaging in ongoing business development activities to build and maintain strong relationships with both existing clients and prospects to enhance client retention, enable cross selling and up-selling, and create new sales opportunities

• Drafting business proposals, making presentations and negotiating contracts with prospective clients. Supporting partner projects and maintaining constant communication with management, staff, and partners to ensure proper operations of the company.

• Developing, implementing,

maintaining and operationalizing processes and quality assurance protocols as well grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization's internal capacity.

• Actively pursuing strategic and operational objectives on time and within defined budgets, track resource and staffing requirements, and advice management on resources and hiring of new employees as needed as well oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments

Qualifications and Experience

• A holder of a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' proven experience in managing operations and project management. A medical or pharmacy degree is an added advantage

• Strong budget development, oversight skills and knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Working knowledge of management software programs, IT skills, and database development

• Multiple years in financial and account reporting

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Working experience in the telemedicine industry an added advantage.
