Purpose of the Job

Safely operate Wastewater treatment plant and equipment, monitor, and control the process to produce a consistent product of the right quality at optimum cost while on shift.

Main Responsibilities

Optimized Instrument control in the wastewater treatment plant.

Daily, weekly, and Monthly Reports
Carry out daily and weekly autonomous maintenance tasks

To Assist wastewater treatment quality analysis

Monitors control panels and adjust valves and gates manually or by remote control to regulate the flow of sewage.

Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings and test results to determine load requirements.

Collect sewage samples, using dipper or bottle and conduct laboratory tests, using testing equipment, such as a colorimeter.

Maintains log of operations and records meter and gauge readings.

Job Requirements

B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food science, chemical Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar industry specifically on wastewater treatment & laboratory area.
