Awash Bank Senior – System Administrator Jobs in Ethiopia

Qualification & Experience:

BSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems with a minimum of six (6) years in System administration or related field out of which 1 year in supervisory position;

Job Summary:

Responsible for the technical functions within each system, including system upgrades, custom implementations, and the general upkeep of each system. In addition, collaboration with business lines to develop and maintain tools, processes, and reliable data that help the Bank make more effective business decisions.

Participates the system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. Involves in development of systems guidelines, procedures and standards to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and security of systems as well as evaluates system capacity and plans for expansion.

Skills and Certifications

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux/UNIX, VMware, Active Directory and Cyber Security, etc

Certifications on Microsoft Windows Servers or Linux/UNIX Certifications or Cisco or VMware is required. Certifications on IT Security is also advantageous.

Skills Requirement:

Knowledge of computer operation is Mandatory.
