Avenue Healthcare Credit Account Coordinator Jobs in Kenya; Ensure timely updates of insurance and corporate requirements and verification. Act as liaison between the hospital and insurance / corporate companies in line with strategic objectives. Maintain accurate payor database in the Hospital’s HMIS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between Insurance Benefits Teams and the hospital.

  • Ensure all debtors have valid contracts and act as custodian of debtor contracts.

  • Maintain accurate client database for insurance and direct credits.

  • Communicate insurance and corporate requirements in the revenue cycle to stakeholders.

  • Update database as instructions are received from insurance and direct credit companies.

  • Open new accounts after confirming duly signed SLAs/contracts.

  • Suspend schemes in the system as instructed by insurance / direct credit companies.

  • Add or delete members in schemes as instructed.

  • Allow billing through the system for items requiring pre‑authorization.

  • Respond to queries regarding the database from internal and external clients.

  • Identify causes of rejected claims and implement corrective changes.

  • Train relevant users on insurance / corporate requirements.

  • Provide leadership to achieve high performance through staff development, engagement and performance management.

  • Ensure timely submission of monthly claims reports.

    Person Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.

  • CPA II qualification.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.
