Job Description

Avenir Technologies PLC is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with its overall goals and objectives.

Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making, scenario analysis, and strategic planning.

Utilize advanced modeling techniques to project future financial performance and assess the impact of various business initiatives.

Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and other key shareholders based on financial analysis and projections.

Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company's goals.

Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to the CEO and shareholders.

Manage capital structure, and oversee cash flow and working capital management.

Evaluate investment opportunities and assess potential risks.

Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks.

Ensure appropriate internal controls and compliance with financial regulations and laws.

Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs and optimize investment returns.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to

the finance team.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, and high-performance within the department

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.

Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.

Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proficiency in financial software's.
