Job Description

Atcom Solutions PLC is hiring interested and qualified applicants for the following position.

The Systems Developer will be part of a team responsible for the development and
maintenance of IT systems and services.

The Candidate will be involved in all phases of the development of new services, maintenance of current systems, changes and system upgrades, using requisite functional and technical expertise in a timely and cost effective manner.

The candidate will contribute significantly to support processes, resolving problems, documenting root causes and improving service levels.

The position is permanent with a place of work in Addis Ababa. Salary will be determined as per the company’s salary scale.

Job Requirements

Qualification Requirement

Education:

B.Sc. Degree in Computer science/ Software engineering or any related field

Technical Skills:

Good knowledge of object oriented programming.

Knowledge of Agile Software Developer Methodology.

Programming languages: JAVA, C++, C #, and Assembly.

Web Development: HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, PHP, ASP, and Python.

Database: My-SQL & MS-SQL.

Operating system: Cent-OS, Linux-mint, Ubuntu, and UNIX

Additional Skills:

Mathematical aptitude

Problem-solving skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

An understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment

Teamwork skills

Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends
