Associated Battery Manufacturers Quality Assurance Supervisor Jobs in Kenya; We are looking for dynamic, mature and result-oriented professional to fill the position of a reporting to the Quality & Systems Manager at our Plastics Division along Enterprise Road


Key Responsibilities

1. Ensuring adherence to specifications and quality procedures and policies with an aim of promoting customer focus across the organization.

2. Carry out monthly process adherence audits

3. Retaining quality related reports including traceability and CA reports.


4. Work with production staff to establish procedures and standards and conduct trainings on quality and defect identification, as well as GMPs/GHPs.

5. Assist in updating documented information and ensuring its adherence to international standard.

6. Ensure 150 9001:2015, 14001,45001 and Kaizen audits are carried out as planned, effective corrective actions taken to close identified gaps and review meetings held to assess performance.

7. Receiving the status of all pending products with quality issues every morning with unresolved quality challenges that needs attention and reporting to Q/SM

8. Monitor and communicate the performance of kaizen projects in the organization with suggestions for improvement.

9. Ensure Kaizen work group meetings for different Gembas are held per the planned schedule with a mindset for improvements and escalate any arising issues of concern

10. Ensure visual management boards are timely updated and create awareness among employees to ensure that procedures and work instructions are adhered to.

11. Assist in fostering positive relationships within the continuous improvement (CI) function within the teams.

12. Ensure that all 65 internal audits including office, AM and PM audits and review results with the

gemba leaders for improvement. 1

3. Ensure the company's commitment to maintain a safe workplace and achieve accident-free factory is sustained through adherence to policies and procedures

14. Ensure no stock out for all items needed for use by the QCs


Interested candidates must have the following bask qualifications and attributes: -

• Degree in Industrial Chemistry, Process Engineering, Analytical chemistry or any other Chemistry related course from a recognized institution of higher learning.

• Hands on experience of 3 years in a supervisory position in a reputable company in plastic manufacturing sector

• Good working knowledge and understanding of factory processes & technology, preferably injection moulding process

• Working knowledge in Kaizen and ISO Standards (preferably ISO 9001: 2015 QMS)

• Keen to detail and able to make timely and independent decisions on quality & process matters

• Ability to consistently identify mistakes across repeat inspections

• Ability to dosely and consistently follow quality standards
