  • KENDRICK RECRUITMENT is seeking for an Assistant Lodge Manager.

  • Service and hospitality for maximum 10 guests at the safari lodge. On occasion, but never in conjunction with lodge, up to 25 guests service and hospitality at a tented bush camp.

    Shift Work Roles and Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet guests after activities

  • Room checks and oversee housekeeping

  • Lodge set up

  • Meal set up and service in dining area or bush

  • Check-in/out of guests, POS recordings, invoicing and bill settlement

    Management Roles & Responsibilities

  • Guest enquiries & reservations including liaison with tour operators, agents and
    central reservations

  • Communication of confirmed reservations with hospitality team

  • Menu planning and stock takes

  • Food & Beverage orders, planning of shopping trips

    Minimum Requirements

  • 1 Year experience in Big Five lodges

  • Driver’s licence

  • Strong administration skills

  • Must be willing to get hands dirty with groundskeeping and bush delights set up

  • Formal hospitality training advantageous

  • Experience on PANHospitality advantageous

    Package offering

  • Accommodation in the form of a private room in a house shared with one other staff
    member

  • Shared fully equipped kitchen

  • Shared bathroom

  • Transport provided when on shift

  • Meals not included

  • Shift work, 8-9hrs per day

  • 4 weeks on 7 days off

  • 3 sets of uniform per season

  • Salary DoE; min R10 000.00/month

  • Start date: Immediate
