Arua Regional Referral Ophthalmic Clinical Officer Jobs in Uganda



Qualification

  • Diploma in Midwifery (URM)

  • Diploma in Nursing (URN)

  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health

  • Must have a Diploma in Ophthalmology from a recognized Institution.

    Key Competences required for the post

  • Applicants should have demonstrable qualities of leadership and integrity.

    Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

  • Participate in diagnosing, treating and managing patients with eye conditions.

  • Refer complicated eye conditions to Senior Ophthalmic Clinical Officer.

  • Assist in management of static and mobile eye units.

  • Assist in management of static and mobile eye units.

  • Assist in management of static and mobile eye units.

  • Carry out equipment maintenance and ensure that they are functional and secure.

  • Participate in research activities.

  • Adhere to the Professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics.

  • Manage and account for allocated resources.

  • Compile and submit periodic reports.

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
