Purpose of Position:

To provide quality customer service to consumers within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession.

Requirements:

First Aid (Level 1), Nursing Diploma / Certificate / Certificate in Phlebotomy Techniques,

SANC Registration in Relevant Register / HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field,

Valid South African drivers licence (Code EB)

Required Experience:

Knowledge: Meditech system,

Knowledge: MS Word and MS Excel,

Knowledge: National Health Act, Phlebotomy experience in a laboratory environment

Key Responsibilities:

Manage money/cash flow of depot to facilitate collection of payments for phlebotomy services rendered,

Perform phlebotomy procedures in order to ensure sufficient delivery of nursing services,

Perform phlebotomy related administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information,

To provide quality customer service to consumers within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession in a phlebotomy environment,
