The Coordinator for Athletics is charged with the responsibility of coordinating the use of all athletic facilities by students’ groups of the University. The duties will include but not limited to planning, organizing, and supervising all athletic awards events, intramural sports/game schedules, transportation, lodging, and meals for out-to-town athletic events.

An ideal candidate would be responsible for maintain an active athletic program that promotes good sportsmanship and student development, developing training options and/or improvement plans for students to ensure exemplary operations in the area of athletics, compiling budgets and cost estimates based on documented program needs as well as maintaining a current inventory of supplies and equipment and recommend disposal and replacement of equipment when necessary.

Establish physical and academic eligibility requirements for participation in each sport, and verify each athlete’s eligibility. Oversee the process of cleaning, repairing, and storing all athletic equipment. Oversee the physical care and condition of the sport pitches and sites of athletic activities, supervising their building, equipping and maintenance. Perform any other duties as assigned or delegated.
