Amentum Transient Line Technician Jobs in Kenya

Job Responsibilities

Provide ground handling and servicing for arriving and departing aircraft, including refueling, towing, and securing.

Follow and perform FAA standard marshalling commands for safe aircraft movements.

Support aircraft maintenance checks, inspections, and operational activities under supervision.

Coordinate with T‑Line supervisors and team members to ensure timely servicing of aircraft.

Operate ground support equipment (GSE) and vehicles in compliance with safety protocols.

Assist in implementing procedures for safe handling of large‑body aircraft operations.

Identify and resolve minor servicing issues or escalate to appropriate personnel.

Maintain records of services performed and report discrepancies.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 2 years general aircraft maintenance experience (large‑body aircraft preferred).

Demonstrated understanding of FAA standard marshalling commands.

Current and valid driver’s license (U.S. or International).

Knowledge of aviation ground handling practices and safety compliance.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid passport (minimum one‑year validity at time of hire).

Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance.

Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

Formal aviation ground handling certifications or related training.

Previous experience servicing large‑body aircraft operations (cargo and passenger).

Familiarity with Air Mobility Command (AMC) procedures.

Prior OCONUS experience in austere environments with multi‑national workforce.

Valid country driver’s license and passport.

Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
