Amentum Production Control Clerk / Service Writer Jobs in Kenya; The Production Control Clerk is responsible for creating, updating, and inputting data into custom reports and information databases used to monitor and induct military and civilian equipment. The role works directly with the Production Control Supervisor and Maintenance Manager to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with program requirements.

Principal Accountabilities

Data Entry & Reporting

Input, update, and export information in GCSS Army or government‑approved LIS.

Perform accurate data entry and reporting of vehicles assigned to the program.

Generate custom equipment tracking databases and spreadsheets.

Administrative & Logistical Support

Provide logistical and administrative support to management.

Create, update, and deliver reports to management.

Support the Company Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and QA Program.

Records & Compliance

Maintain records of maintenance in historical jackets and computerized systems.

Ensure documentation for disposition, classification, controlled exchange, and cannibalization is accurate.

Training & Mentorship

Mentor and assist with on‑the‑job training and cross‑training.

Standards & Customer Interaction

Comply with company rules, policies, and procedures.

Comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Interact favorably with internal and external customers.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Ability to use technical manuals.

Expertise in supply and maintenance interaction.

Experience with computers and office machines.

Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Experience & Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years’ hands‑on experience in production control, including administration and dispatching.

Preferred training in Military Occupation CMF 92A Production Control MOS series or equivalent.

Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain military operator’s permit for required vehicles/equipment.
