Amentum Bartender Jobs in Kenya;Under general supervision, the MWR Technician – Bartender coordinates activities required to operate Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) facilities, ensuring safe service of alcoholic beverages, compliance with regulations, and excellent customer service.

Principal Accountabilities

Beverage Service

  • Meet installation’s minimum serving age (21) for alcoholic beverages.

  • Pour and serve drinks such as beer and wine.

  • Mix drinks according to establishment recipes.

  • Prepare garnishes and understand alcohol safety procedures.

    Customer Safety & Compliance

  • Verify identification prior to serving alcohol.

  • Handle intoxicated patrons according to guidelines.

  • Limit liability by managing excess serving and preventing drunk driving.

  • Follow sanitation procedures in line with Army and Preventative Medicine requirements.

    Operations & Customer Service

  • Manage alcohol purchases using POS software and cash register.

  • Describe and serve dishes from food menu.

  • Clean bar tools, glassware, utensils, and equipment.

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive patron relations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge & Skills

  • CPR and first aid certification preferred.

  • Knowledge of bar terminology and alcohol safety procedures.

  • Good
    interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of exercise science, health, and fitness desirable.

    Experience & Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience coordinating team sports, recreation club activities, or social event scheduling.

  • MWR armed forces experience preferred.

    Physical Requirements / Working Environment

  • Living and working conditions may be remote and uncomfortable.

  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

  • Personnel should be prepared to move on short notice under adverse conditions.
