Amentum AGE Supervisor Jobs in Kenya; Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies, and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking an Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Supervisor to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise the operations and daily maintenance of AGE systems covered under this contract or related equipment.
Advise, diagnose, and resolve issues related to AGE, ensuring all equipment operates within approved guidelines and standards.
Oversee the repair, maintenance, and modification of AGE assets, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime.
Implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to established maintenance standards and procedures.
Support troubleshooting activities for electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to ensure equipment reliability.
Train and mentor AGE technicians to improve their technical skills and ensure high‑quality maintenance operations.
Manage inventory and ensure the availability of required tools, equipment, and spare parts.
Monitor and document all AGE maintenance and servicing activities in compliance with operational requirements and record‑keeping standards.
Develop and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental and workplace safety regulations.
Act as the primary point of contact for AGE‑related operational queries and communicate effectively with management and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and modification of Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) or similar equipment.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AGE systems.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and
mechanical systems within AGE.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Leadership or supervisory experience in a technical or operational environment.
Ability to interpret and apply technical manuals and guidelines for troubleshooting and repairs.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
Passport must be valid for at least one (1) year at the time of hire.
Must successfully complete and maintain contract medical requirements for the duration of deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of technical training, certification, or an apprenticeship program related to Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE).
Prior military experience managing AGE equipment within a government or military operations framework.
Familiarity with applicable safety and environmental compliance standards, including OSHA regulations.
Experience working in an OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) or remote/austere environment.
Ability to utilize maintenance management systems and software for reporting and inventory tracking.
