Ambrose Alli University Vice-Chancellor - Ekpoma Jobs in Nigeria; The Vice Chancellor is the Chief Executive and Academic Officer of the University and Chairman of Senate, Congregation, Members of College/Schools/Faculties/Institutes, and any other Authorities of the University. He/she shall be the embodiment and symbol of the Vision and Mission of the University.
Tenure of Office and Terms of Appointment:
*The Vice Chancellor shall hold office for a single term of five years and shall not be older than 65 years of age when the position is scheduled to be occupied.
The Candidate:
The Candidate shall be:
(i) Competent at all times to advise the Governing Council on any matter affecting the policy, finance, and administration of the University;
(ii) Responsible to Senate for the administration of academic programmes and student discipline in consonance with extant rules and regulations of the University; and generally responsible to the Council for maintaining good governance through proper enforcement of the University Statutes, Ordinances, and Regulations.
Qualifications
The Candidate for the post of Vice Chancellor shall be:
*A distinguished scholar with proven outstanding academic leadership and administrative records.
*A Professor of not less than ten (10) years’ status, who must have served as Head of Department and any of the following positions: Director/Dean/Provost or Deputy Vice Chancellor in a recognized University.
*Must possess high moral standards, integrity, accountability, and transparency.
*Must be a proficient scholar with ICT skills relevant to contemporary
