Alupe University College Senior Supply Chain Assistant Jobs in Kenya

Minimum Qualification and Experience

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain and Logistics; Purchasing and Supplies, Commerce (Supplies Management Option), BA (Supplies Management option) or equivalent;

Must have at least three (3) years 'relevant experience as supply chain assistant or equivalent position;

Be a Member of a relevant professionally body and be in good standing;

Proficiency in computer applications; and

Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

Preparing tender documents;

Secretariat services to the tender opening and technical evaluation committees;

Secretariat services to procurement committees;

Preparing periodic procurement reports;

Participating in technical and financial evaluation of tenders;

Handling queries from both internal and external customers;

Implementing provision of the Procurement manuals;

Conducting market research and surveys of goods and services;

Providing input in preparing specifications;

Ensuring safe Custody of stores;

Participating in quality management and performance contracting processes; and

Issuing of stores to users.
