Assess and repair failed installation when returned form the field or when failed at the staging department

Assess damaged machines
Rebuild certain products for resell
Occasional assistance with palliating
check and service re-sited equipment
Assist with cannibalizing when necessary for LCC

Responsibilities

  • To refurbish the second user machines for replacement as ECO range machines at customers
  • To perform maintenance on the full range of digital printers in the Johannesburg warehouse
  • To test machines that come back from the field with problems and establish the cause of the problem and solution to fix
  • Analyse DOA (dead on arrival), request the required parts for the machines and resolve the problems
  • Perform quality control on refurbished machines before sending machines out for replacement

    Requirements

  • Minimum of N4 Electronics / Electromechanical qualification or equivalent diploma
  • Matric (Maths & Science)
  • Must be able to work as a team, but also complete tasks on their own
