ALIMA Donor Relations Manager Jobs in Ethiopia; Under the supervision of the Head of Mission, the Donor Relations Manager is responsible for implementing the financing strategy in line with ALIMA’s country action plan.

  • Mobilize funding to enable project implementation.

  • Maintain regular relations with donors and actively seek funding.

  • Guarantee drafting of project proposals and donor reports.

  • Support monitoring of donor contractual indicators in collaboration with Project Coordinators and Medical Coordinator.

    Main Activities

  • Define and monitor country financing strategy, adapting to changing needs.

  • Nurture relationships with funders, ensure representation, negotiate funding, and coordinate donor visits.

  • Actively search for funding, identify new donors, monitor thematic priorities, update donor mapping, and develop communication materials.

  • Produce concept notes and project proposals, ensuring quality, conformity, and alignment with donor priorities.

  • Disseminate key information on donor procedures and support Project Coordinators in contractual follow‑up.

  • Track data to meet reporting requirements, ensuring completeness and quality analysis.

  • Ensure accurate and analytical narrative reporting within defined timelines.

  • Manage financing contracts, liaise with donor representatives, and maintain contract monitoring tools.

  • Apply standards in prevention against abuse, participate in training, and integrate safeguarding clauses in proposals and
    reports.

    Qualifications / Special Skills

  • Higher education degree (Master’s level or equivalent) in development studies, public health, international relations, project management, or related field.

  • Excellent level of English and French, oral and written.

  • Good command of project management tools (project cycle, logical framework, proposal writing, reporting).

  • At least one year of professional experience in reporting, design, and/or project management, plus field experience.

  • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and writing skills.

  • Autonomy, initiative, teamwork, and communication skills.

  • Rigour, motivation, and willingness to achieve project support objectives.

  • Understanding and adherence to ALIMA’s values and mission.
