Akiba Mashinani Trust Communications Officer Jobs in Kenya; Lead AMT’s communications strategy, driving storytelling, digital engagement, media relations, and knowledge dissemination.

Amplify AMT’s public profile and advocacy initiatives.

Provide strategic support to communications, advocacy, knowledge, and public engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement AMT’s communication strategy to strengthen institutional visibility.

Manage digital platforms (website, blog, policy briefs, newsletter, infographics, social media).

Establish and maintain relationships with media houses, journalists, and development partners.

Document AMT’s work through photography, videography, and written content.

Support production of knowledge products (reports, policy briefs, advocacy materials).

Coordinate internal communication and knowledge‑sharing processes.

Represent AMT in communication‑related forums and networks.

Support fundraising and donor engagement through communication products and public relations.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Development Studies, or related field.

Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in communications, media relations, or development communication.

Excellent writing, editing, and

digital storytelling skills.

Strong understanding of social media management and digital engagement strategies.

Experience in photography, videography, and graphic design software is an added advantage.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
