The Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu has outreach Health Services at Kisii, Kakamega, Kitale, Bungoma, Kericho, Kibuye-Kisumu, West End- Kisumu, Busia, Homa – Bay, Kapsabet, Migori, Bomet and Narok.
The hospital is seeking to attract interested and qualified applicants to fill locum (temporary / part time) positions within our outreaches, the positions are listed below:
Meal Server (Locum) – Kisumu
Vacancy no: AKHK/HCD/L/005
The successful candidate will be responsible for general service of meals to all clients and maintenance of a hygienic environment within the catering department.
Responsibilities
Ensure that correct food orders are taken from patients and clients.
Ensure prompt and efficient service to all clients.
Manage all menus and requests of food orders by analyzing and summarizing orders prior to service.
Investigates and reports complaints regarding food quality and service for appropriate action.
Ensure proper food safety processes and procedures are adhered to.
Qualifications
Diploma in Food and beverage services techniques
Three years working experience in a similar position
Knowledge of the HACCP system is an advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills
