Airtel Enterprise Customer Project Manager Jobs in Kenya



Responsibilities

Customer Project Delivery

  • Manage end‑to‑end lifecycle of customer projects from initiation through implementation and closure.

  • Ensure delivery within agreed scope, timelines, cost, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate internal teams for successful deployment of customer solutions.

    Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers during project delivery.

  • Manage customer expectations and maintain regular communication on progress.

  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and trust.

    Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop project plans, schedules, and resource requirements.

  • Define milestones, deliverables, and implementation timelines.

  • Ensure project activities are executed according to plan.

    Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate across engineering, operations, sales, and support teams.

  • Facilitate collaboration between customer teams and internal specialists.

  • Align customer requirements with internal capabilities.

    Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify potential risks and issues affecting project delivery.

  • Implement mitigation strategies and escalate critical issues when necessary.

  • Manage project changes and scope adjustments with stakeholders.

    Vendor & Resource Management

  • Manage third‑party vendors and technology partners involved in delivery.

  • Ensure vendor deliverables meet contractual and technical requirements.

    Project Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor performance against KPIs and milestones.

  • Provide regular progress updates to customers and internal management.

  • Ensure proper documentation and closure of projects.

    Qualifications

    Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.

  • Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.

  • PMP certification is mandatory.

    Experience

  • 5–10 years’ experience in ICT, telecom, or technology product management.

  • Experience in enterprise solutions.

  • Exposure to telecommunications or digital services industry preferred.

  • Broad technical knowledge of managed data networks and services (Cloud, Security, Unified Communication).

  • Strong communication skills for articulating project strategy, risks, and mitigation to management and customers.
