Job Description

Airtel Kenya wishes to recruit for the role of Acquisition Manager, within Marketing Division to ensure all new prepaid customer objectives are achieved.

This leader will be responsible for providing direction and ongoing coaching to the sales team around customer acquisition, sharing of best practices and progress against goals.

This role reports to the Marketing Director. Key responsibilities of the role include and are not limited to;

  • Put in place an all encompassing onboarding process for postpaid, prepaid and hybrid that includes Profit story, customer sales pitch, KYC, Number provisioning, AM activation, Line activation, Offer provisioning, Am top-up and Recharge Identify cash loss sites, assess the problem and come up with remedial planning of making them profitable which may inlcude special offers to drive profit and ensure site performance is monitored
  • Work with all stakeholders (internally & externally) to ensure full support and alignment to all elements making acquisition a success
  • Train and create awareness on new products, profit story and on boarding process to both Internal and external partners
  • Ensure m2 Decay is as low as possible and do regular market visits to drive quality of execution on the ground
  • Have full accountability and responsibility for product life cycle management of the acquisition offer and ensure competitive, relevant
    acquisition offers are in place

    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other related field
  • A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
  • 5 - 8 years’ experience in retail sales with good knowledge of distribution and channel management.
  • Experience in Telecommunications will be an added advantage
  • Project Management skills
