Ophthalmology Nurse
•Reporting to the Ophthalmic Cataract Surgeon, the holder of the position will glorify God by ensuring timely coordination of the process of attending to patients received at Outpatient/eye department; manage their treatment and provision of other services in support of attainment of the Hospital objectives.


Applicants Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Attributes
•A Diploma in Nursing/Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN)/Kenya Registered Nurse (KRN
•Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)
•Valid nursing practicing licence
•Minimum 3 months’ post-graduate training in ophthalmology
•Must demonstrate ability to execute work assigned with minimum supervision
•Must be a team player who is able to work cordially in teams
•Must demonstrate ability to multitask
•Should have ability to solve problems by applying relevant knowledge
•Must demonstrate professional expertise in the relevant work area
•Must have good communication and presentation skills
•Must

have a mature and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and a love for people
•Should have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and equip others
•Must be aligned to the Mission and Vision of the AIC Kijabe Hospital
