Job Vacancy:

Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

Reporting to the physiotherapy manager, the holder of this position will glorify God by administering Occupational Therapy services and participating in the hospital spiritual ministry via the practice of occupational therapy;

facilitates development and rehabilitation of patients with mental, emotional and physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy (occupational or activities of daily living therapy)

Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Attributes

Diploma in Occupational Therapy

Interest in continuous professional growth

Two years in a busy occupational therapist services department.

Must demonstrate high integrity and ethical practice.

Must demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Must be a team player who is able to work cordially in teams

Must demonstrate ability to multitask.

Must demonstrate commitment to operational effectiveness

Must be able to work under pressure

Must be a flexible person, who is willing to learn and able to work flexible hours to achieve goals

Must be a born again and committed Christian with evidence of maturity in faith

Ability to translate and communicate biblical values / hospital ethics in

personal life and professional life

Must be an honest person full of integrity in their personal conduct and handling of job responsibilities

High standards of grooming and personal etiquette.
