We are renowned for excellent patient care in outpatient, inpatient and surgical care and have been in existence since 1915.

To strengthen our team, we are seeking to fill the following position: Legal Officer

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate and Legal Affairs, the holder of the position will glorify God by ensuring provision of legal services that will ensure that the hospital is of good legal standing.

Applicant’s qualifications, experience, competencies and attributes

Bachelor’s degree in Law

Minimum of three (3) years of legal experience in a large and dynamic hospital/ environment

Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya

Must demonstrate the ability to contextualize and synthesize broad organizational issues and
objectives and evaluate regulatory and compliance risks thereof

Should have experience in making risk-based decisions in a complex environment with
competing demands

Should have analytical and contracts management skills

Should have excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, good judgement and
impeccable integrity

Must demonstrate professional expertise in the relevant work area

Must have good communication and presentation skills

Must be aligned to the mission and vision of AIC Kijabe Hospital
