Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in development of new internal courses for holistic and comprehensive care education

• Recruitment, training, retention and follow up of co-opted mentors involved in various courses

• Deliver lectures and small group mentorship sessions for the trainees

• Facilitate CMEs to enhance clinical and professional development for hospital staff in the areas of
chronic diseases

• Work with the clinical staff in chronic care clinic to provide health care needs to patients at the
chronic care clinic and outpatient department as assigned

• Advocate for becoming Centers of Excellence across Chronic disease spectrum

Applicants Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Attributes

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Medicine or Nursing

• Preferred Higher Diploma or Master’s in Medical Education

• Registered with the Clinical Officers Council or Nursing Council

• Valid practicing licence

• 3 years’ experience working in a HIV/TB or Chronic Diseases clinic
