Job summary

  • The Project officer will work closely with Aha Program Coordination/PC/ to meet the goals and objectives of the company.

  • The PO is responsible for new and ongoing projects like career development center of Aha, research, consultancy, training and other psychological services.

  • He/She is responsible in closely supervising the effective implementation of the career development center and the vocation guidance and counseling services.

    Key responsibilities

  • Prepares plan and report the performances monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annually.

  • Implements the planned activities and ensure profitability

  • Leads and manage projects and related services by working together with different agencies for effective implementation.

  • Monitors and report the activities to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services.

  • Networks with partners, government, non-government and private organizations for the smooth functioning of Aha projects and services.

  • Oversees the counselling and training activities of Aha for their effective and quality services

  • Participates on team meetings,
    case conferences, case debriefings, trainings, seminars on topics relevant to our client base.

  • Represents the company and communicate with different agencies and maintain excellent relationship

  • Actively engage on Aha’s services and activities as entrusted by the immediate supervisor

    Job Requirements

  • Good project management and implementation skills

  • Good communication and human relation

  • Coordination and report writing skills

  • Timeliness and responsiveness

  • Flexibility and determination

  • Work under pressure and proactively

    Qualifications

  • Academic Qualification- MA Degree from recognized University in Psychology, preferably counseling psychology.

    Experience

  • Work Experience 5 years, out of which3 years’ experience directly related to managing a project

  • Special Training- Project planning, management and implementation

  • Other Requirements- Knowledge of Training/capacity building

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching

  • Ability and willingness to dramatically change work practices and work with team function
