Agricultural Finance Corporation Chief Human Capital & Administration Officer Jobs in Kenya;;] To lead the HR and Administration functions with strategic acumen and deep knowledge of HR practices, shaping AFC’s success by aligning people strategy with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Planning

  • Collaborate with executive team to align HR strategies with business objectives.

  • Develop and implement HR plans and initiatives to support growth and productivity.

    Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract optimal talent.

  • Develop recruitment strategies, conduct interviews, and assess staffing needs.

    Employee Relations

  • Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and ensure a positive work environment.

  • Implement policies and procedures compliant with labour laws.

    Performance Management

  • Develop and implement performance evaluation systems and improvement plans.

  • Drive goal‑setting and appraisal processes.

    Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and implement employee development programmes.

  • Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions.

    Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee design and administration of compensation and benefits programmes.

  • Ensure competitive salary packages to attract and retain talent.

    HR Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and corporate policies.

  • Update HR practices in line with legislative changes.

    Employee Engagement

  • Promote initiatives to foster workplace culture, satisfaction, and retention.

    Succession Planning

  • Identify and develop successors for key roles to ensure leadership continuity.

    HR Metrics & Analytics

  • Analyze HR data to measure programme effectiveness and improve practices.

    Diversity & Inclusion

  • Implement strategies to promote diversity and equity in the workplace.

    HR Technology Management

  • Oversee HR software and technology to streamline processes.

    Employee Wellness

  • Implement wellness programmes to promote
    well‑being and work‑life balance.

    Administration Oversight

  • Manage property, transport, and facility operations to ensure conducive work environments.

    Person Specification

  • Minimum 12 years’ relevant experience, with 3 years at Deputy Director level or equivalent.

  • Master’s Degree in Business Management, HRM, Sociology, or related field.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, HRM, Sociology, or related field.

  • Higher Diploma in HRM or CHRP(K) qualification.

  • Full member of IHRM in good standing with valid practicing license.

  • Leadership course lasting at least 4 weeks from a recognized institution.

  • Fulfil requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
