Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC), a Parastatal in the Agricultural Sector seeks
dynamic and result oriented persons to fill the following positions its establishment

  • Laboratory Technician

    Scope:

    Reporting to the Manager in charge of Semen Production.

    Skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Age 25 – 35 years.
  • Diploma in Applied Biology.
  • Certificate in Laboratory Practices (optional).
  • Basic Computer Packages.
  • 1 year minimum working experience in a Semen Laboratory.

    Key result areas:
  • Carry out Semen photometering and recording
  • Carry out semen dilution and recording
  • Printing of straws.
  • Semen freezing
  • Cleaning glassware and sterilization
  • Packing of semen orders and recording
  • Uploading semen data in computer
  • Semen data collection and analysis
  • Semen packaging and dispatch
  • Maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene in the laboratory
