Agribusiness Firm Sales Coordinator Jobs in Nairobi, Kenya

We are a leading player in Agribusiness in East African region. We supply and install a wide range of Agricultural equipment, Irrigation Systems and water solutions and Hospitality equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Increase company profitability by meeting set sales targets using the sales strategy and budget developed by the department
  • Source new sales opportunities through tenders, in-bound lead follow up, cold calls, emails and going to the fields
  • Making appointments to meet new and existing customers
  • Making presentations to promote new and existing products
  • Maintain existing and develop new business through appropriate value propositions and ethical sales methods by acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
  • Communicate new product and developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to the line manager
  • Negotiating the terms of agreement with customers and closing sales
  • Do online marketing in all social media platforms
  • Prospect sales leads
  • Defining, gathering, analyzing and distributing information about products, customers and competitors and any other aspect of the environment needed to support in making strategic decisions
  • Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports on sales.
  • Ensure that all
    marketing materials are available at all times
  • Provide In house support to Sales Department as required.

    Minimum Qualifications
  • A University degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related course
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Excellent reading and comprehension of the English Language
  • Thoroughness and accuracy in administrative tasks, with attention to detail
  • Proficient computer user and typing skills
  • Creative thinker and articulate
  • Ability to work within set deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Must be a quick learner.
