Position :

Mechanical Engineer - Projects

Analyze the requirements of mechanical work in construction/extension of the Manufacturing units and develop mechanical system design solutions based on engineering principles.

Provide inputs to design factory layout considering the machinery to be installed. Perform
technical calculations supporting design.

Define equipment and parts from external suppliers and Conduct cost estimation.

Erection of machinery as per the plan. Identify and address design parameters and
engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and in budget.

QA / QC of Mechanical works.

To coordinate with other project team members to ensure timely completion of project
work.

Identify competent contractors for the project work and sign agreements with them.

Vendor finalization as per requirements of project.

Contractor & Vendor Management to ensure execution of the work according to the
contract conditions.

Reconciliation of material and Billing of contractors.

Directs and guides the construction process and coordinates with other project members
for the same.

Ensure Planning, Execution, Monitoring and timely execution of all Mechanical work at
site.

Achieving timely completion of projects as per agreed schedule.

Resolve the issues faced during the execution of work.

Proposes improvements in the project work and take necessary approvals of their
implementations.

Anchoring on –

site project activities and overseeing the performance of sub- contractor
s, Ensuring compliance with quality assurance plans.

Planning effective manpower deployment & works scheduling of qualified workforce.

Preparation of daily progress report to inform the higher authority.

Coordination among Structural consultants, Architect, Suppliers, Labour contractors and
company management.

Desired Candidate Profile:-

BE / BTech in Mechanical with 5+ years of Experience in Projects.

Able to design, read and understand the drawings for the construction.

Should have experience of end to end project completion in the Manufacturing setup.

Should be willing to travel to sites anywhere in India & abroad.

Should be able to work independently
