AGL- Africa Global Releasing Supervisor/Gate Pass Supervisor Jobs in Kenya; Africa Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Releasing Supervisor / Gate Pass Supervisor to oversee gate pass processing and ensure compliance with documentation and operational procedures. The role requires strong attention to detail, coordination with internal and external clients, and the ability to maintain smooth workflow within the gate pass team.

Mission Description

  • Ensure and check all gate passes have valid documentation aligned with procedures.

  • Confirm consignments are correctly charged with accurate tariffs and parameters.

  • Ensure all invoices are current and properly receipted.

  • Verify delivery orders (date and signatory) and port pass approvals where required.

  • Ensure all documentation linked to consignments is part of the gate pass.

  • Ensure goods are released to correct parties with proper documentation.

  • Upload and print gate passes if required.

  • Follow up to ensure manual gate passes are closed in a timely manner.

  • Follow up on payments and closure of files with credit facility.

  • Liaise with internal and external clients to resolve gate pass issues with minimal interruption.

  • Escalate issues that may negatively impact gate pass processes to management.

  • Ensure complete gate passes are archived in a timely manner.

  • Work with the gate pass team to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Sign off on gate passes in absence of Assistant Manager Customer Service & Documentation or Yard Manager.

  • Perform any other duties as directed by management.

    Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Experience in KWATOS will be an added advantage.
