AGL- Africa Global Motor Vehicle Supervisor Jobs in Kenya; Africa Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Motor Vehicle Supervisor to oversee yard operations, ensuring safe receipt, tallying, documentation, and dispatch of vehicles from port to yard. The role requires strong coordination, incident reporting, and compliance with operational and safety standards. The Motor Vehicle Supervisor will liaise with port supervisors, manage personnel, and provide daily operational reports to ensure efficiency and accountability.

Mission Description

  • Ensure all nominated units are received in yard from port safe and intact.

  • Ensure all units are tallied by respective agencies (BV/MCT staff), positioned in blocks, and locked by assigned clerks/drivers.

  • Coordinate and supervise all activities in the motor vehicle yard of assigned personnel.

  • Ensure all incidents in the yard are recorded through incident forms and reported to management.

  • Ensure safety and safe working processes/conditions are adhered to at all times.

  • Plan human resources in the yard to avoid operational delays due to lack of personnel.

  • Submit all yard operations/performance reports daily by close of business.

  • Liaise with port supervisor to ensure all dispatched units are received in yard.

  • Confirm documentation for released units
    meets MCT management thresholds.

  • Document and escalate anomalies (dents, damages, missing items) to management for action.

  • Assist yard manager in operations during off duty or leave.

  • Examine release documents (gate passes) for validity by checking in the system.

  • Provide factual reports of 24‑hour yard operations.

  • Update units received/delivered/verified via email hourly and daily.

  • Participate in other duties reasonably assigned by management.

    Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Port Operations Management, Transport and Logistics Management, or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in yard operations, vehicle logistics, port operations, terminal operations, or fleet management.
