AGL- Africa Global Logistics Fuel & Telematics Administrator Jobs in Kenya


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily fuel consumption by vehicle, driver, and route against approved benchmarks.

  • Reconcile fuel transactions with telematics/GPS data, investigating losses or discrepancies.

  • Maintain accurate fuel records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

  • Support fuel efficiency initiatives and track improvements against KPIs.

  • Administer GPS tracking and telematics systems, escalating faults promptly.

  • Monitor vehicle utilization, idling, speeding, harsh braking, unauthorized movements, and route deviations.

  • Analyse fleet performance data to identify underperforming assets and recommend corrective actions.

  • Prepare operational dashboards and performance reports on fuel efficiency, utilization, and driver performance.

  • Ensure compliance with company fuel management policies, telematics procedures, and SOPs.

  • Maintain documentation to support internal and external audits.

  • Liaise with drivers, supervisors, and service providers to resolve operational issues.

  • Support investigations into fuel variances, telematics exceptions, accidents, and violations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Fleet & Transport Solutions Manager.

    Key Skills & Knowledge

  • Fleet fuel management and control processes.

  • GPS tracking and telematics systems.

  • Fleet performance monitoring and reporting.

  • Transport
    operations and fleet management.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Experience with fleet management systems and telematics platforms.

    Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in fleet management, transport operations, fuel management, or telematics administration.

  • Experience managing GPS tracking systems, fuel reconciliation, and fleet performance reporting.

  • Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) or telematics platforms is an added advantage.
