The Medical College offers Master of Medicine (M Med) degrees in Anaesthesia, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gyneacology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Radiology, and Surgery.

  • Currently the University offers fellowship programmes in the following specialties: Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Neonatology and Paediatric Neurology.

  • The Aga Khan University Department of Surgery invites applications for the position of Full Time Faculty & Consultant ENT & Head and Neck Surgeon.

    Responsibilities

  • Successful applicant will be committed to advancing best practice in their discipline, meet the quality and patient safety standards of an internationally accredited
    university hospital, Successful applicants besides providing tertiary care clinical services will develop their academic career in teaching and research. In education the focus will remain on undergraduate and post graduate medical education.

    Requirements

  • Applicants must have a completion certificate of specialty training in ENT with a qualification of Masters of Medicine or FRCS or Equivalent specialty qualification. Applicant should also have done subspecialty training/fellowship in skull base surgery/head neck surgery.

  • S/he must have 5 years post specialty training experience in the field.

  • Teaching and research experience is desirable.

  • S/he be registered or eligible for registration with Kenya Medical Practitioners’ & Dentists Board as a specialist.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.
