Aga Khan Hospital Physiotherapist (Locum) Kisumu Jobs in Kenya ; Reporting to the Manager – Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the successful candidate will work with patients to identify and improve their movement and function. S/he will also be expected to be an active member of the health care team in the Hospital.

Responsibilities

Determination of appropriate treatment programme.

Evaluation of the patients to identify their needs.

Execution of treatment programme using required physiotherapy modalities and techniques.

Meeting the patient needs in terms of rehabilitation.

Daily assessment of patient’s progress.

Monitoring patient’s relief and level of functionality.

The requirements

Minimum Diploma in Physiotherapy from KMTC or any other recognized institution.

Bsc. in Physiotherapy or Higher Diploma in any area of specialty in Physiotherapy will be an added advantage.

Must be registered and licensed by the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya.

At least one year working experience in a busy health facility.

Working knowledge of a Hospital Management Information System.

Excellent Public Relation. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
